About the Bride & Groom

Lynne Fenley

She / Her

Lynne grew up in New England and has been moving west ever since, with a stop at Oberlin College where she studied Geology. Drawn here by the natural beauty of Mt. Hood and the Willamette River, she has lived in Portland, OR since 2010 and works as an environmental consultant. Her son Theo will be six this year. Lynne grew up by the ocean and loves to swim. She and Ben frequent water holes in the PNW, and she and Theo are often at the community pool. She also loves to write and has more than 30 years worth of personal journals. The first thing Lynne noticed about Ben were his beautiful blue eyes, accentuated by a black KN95 mask.

He / Him

Ben was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He is a Gemini sun and Virgo rising, if you’re into that. Ben lives in Portland, Oregon with Lynne, her son Theo, and their cats Toby and Mim. Ben is a visual designer specializing in brand design and illustration (he made the website you’re looking at 😉). You might find Ben on a bike ride around town or on a kayak adventure. He loves playing boardgames with Lynne at Papaccino’s. Their current favorites are Snakes of Wrath and Desperate Oasis . When Ben first met Lynne, he didn’t want their 3 hour conversation to end despite being seated outdoors at a coffee shop in 117° heat (the hottest day on record in Portland).

Ceremony and reception will take place at Leach Botanical Garden Manor House. To get to the Manor House, drive past the main entrance to Leach Botanical Garden and continue on SE 122nd Ave.

You will want to park in the lower Creekside lot located at 6739 SE 122nd Ave. You may drop off your guests directly in front of the Manor House before proceeding to the Creekside parking lot.
